My mission in life is to take care of animals – my own, my clients, rescue animals, lost & found animals, and I also help feed the hungry pets in the Fox Valley, WI area through the first little free pet food pantry located in my front yard: Lovie’s Little Free Pet Food Pantry.
Due to my strong family ties in Neenah, WI, I bought my first and only home in Neenah in 2002. Since that time it has seen a menagerie of furry family members….ALL rescues. The animals have ranged from dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, and fish, which has taught me a lot about all these animals’ wonderful personalities. They have shown me how to care for them when they are healthy, but maybe more importantly, what to do when they are sick. This has become critical in my care for my clients’ pets as well, since I know how to treat and handle pets who are diabetic, deaf, blind, arthritic, or have other ailments, or have congestive heart failure, cancer, or other medical conditions. As we all sadly know, our young, healthy, and vibrant pets will one day face health challenges.
I have also learned a lot about behavioral issues through multiple animal rescues I’ve volunteered with and my own independent animal rescue endeavors. This is another great asset that has helped me with the large variety of animals I care for and their even larger variety of personalities. I understand how to handle the very shy, to the very active, to the very protective, and everything in between. Because of this, I offer a FREE consultation prior to pet sitting, so we can go over everything about your pet in detail. This will ensure your pet’s needs will be met to your exact specifications.
